National Cancer Center of Singapore (NCCS) Clinical Training Scholarship Program

To promote global clinical knowledge exchange, NCCS There are two types of professional oncology training programs available, namely, clinical scholarships and internship programs. This plan provides a good platform for oncologists and doctors worldwide to exchange ideas with their counterparts in Singapore.

Training Type

(A) Clinical Scholarship

·Up to 12 months;

·Operation training;

·Temporary medical registration with the Singapore Medical Commission (SMC) is required;

·Medical Accident Compensation Insurance from the Medical Accident Protection Society (MPS) is required;

·Issue the participation certificate after completion.

Qualification Requirements:

·Basic Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)

·Complete a 12 month internship;

·You must register with a medical committee, ministry, or relevant licensing agency to practice medicine;

·Must meet the temporary medical registration qualification of the Singapore Medical Commission (SMC);

·Proficient in English. If the teaching language for a basic medical degree is not English, it must meet the requirements of SMC;

·Have 3 years of post domestic work experience or a postgraduate diploma or degree;

·Must be eligible to obtain a training and employment permit and visa issued by the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore;

·Qualification standards and requirements for individual departments

Admission: All year round (application must be submitted at least 6 months before the start date).

(B) Clinical observation

·Up to six months;

·Do not interfere in observation;

·Temporary medical registration with the Singapore Medical Commission (SMC) is required;

·Medical Accident Compensation Insurance from the Medical Accident Protection Society (MPS) is required;

·Issue the participation certificate after successful completion;

·Administrative expenses.

Qualification Requirements:

·Basic medical degree (MBBS or equivalent);

·Complete a 12 month internship;

·You must register with a medical committee, ministry, or relevant licensing agency to practice medicine

·Must meet the temporary medical registration qualification of the Singapore Medical Commission (SMC);

·Must have a training and employment permit and visa issued by the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore;

·Meet the eligibility criteria and requirements of individual departments.

Admission time: April and October (apply at least 6 months before the start of the semester).

(C) "Hands off" Observation

·Up to 28 days;

·Release training;

·At its own expense;

·The training confirmation letter can be issued by the department (provided upon request).

Qualification Requirements:

·Basic medical degree (MBBS or equivalent);

·Complete a 12 month internship;

·You must register with a medical committee, ministry, or relevant licensing agency to practice medicine;

·2 letters of recommendation;

·Proof of service from the current employer;

·Meet the qualification standards and requirements of individual departments.

Admission: Apply throughout the year (at least 4 months before the start of the semester).
