Nursing quality is one of the important indicators to measure the quality of hospital services, which directly affects the clinical medical quality, social image, and economic benefits of a hospital. The level of nursing quality not only depends on the quality and technical content of nursing personnel, but also directly depends on the level of nursing management, especially the methods of nursing quality management. Scientific, effective, rigorous, and complete management methods are the foundation for ensuring nursing quality, and are also important measures to improve nursing quality.

In order to promote international exchange of health talents, expand the international vision and management level of nursing talents in China, learn the system standards and successful experience of Miaoyou Clinic in nursing, learn advanced nursing experience, strengthen nursing skills, and reach the world's advanced level.

Event Overview

Training duration: Summer 2023, two weeks

Training location: Miaoyou Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Training objects: nursing personnel and health technical personnel of medical and health institutions at all levels.

Training Content

A series of trainings were conducted around common issues and key points in nursing management, including clinical nursing research, nursing innovation, nursing informatization practice, nursing quality control and improvement, evidence-based concepts and practical changes, the direction of nursing discipline construction and clinical nursing research in the new era, and the application of psychology in hospital management.

Project Arrangement

Week 1: 8 lectures on different topics and 2 visits by high-level experts in the field of nursing.

The focus of the second week is on excellent performance and quality, and in addition to the visit, it will also include seminars and professional practical knowledge.

At the end of the workshop, participants will complete the materials required for the bronze grade of the Mayo Quality Plan. After passing the online exam, students will receive a certificate.
