2018 Hopkins Scientific Research Innovation Seminar in the United States Successfully Completed
From November 22nd to 28th, 2018, the "2018 Hopkins Research Innovation and Training in the United States" project, hosted by the Sino American Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMS), completed successfully. A total of 24 senior management personnel from four Class III hospitals in Shanghai and Zhejiang went to Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States to successfully complete a week of overseas research and training tasks.
Johns Hopkins Hospital also attaches great importance to this seminar, and the training teachers during the study period are all professionals from Hopkins Hospital.
Through course learning and interactive communication with speakers, students have focused on understanding the medical system, hospital operations, medical quality, medical education, and scientific research in the United States.
During the learning process, the lecturer conducted active communication and learning with the students and between them. Through interaction, they gained a deep understanding of the experiences and problems that are worth learning from the United States medical system and its operation. At the same time, they also shared working experiences and experiences in China's health and health policies, health science and research management policies, and collaborative development of clinical research, achieving the learning goal of exchanging needed information, promoting information to the outside world, and deepening understanding.
During this brief learning exchange, everyone has personally realized that there are significant differences between China and the United States in terms of technology, equipment, and cultural background. Strengthening international exchanges and cooperation is of great significance for promoting the development of domestic medical undertakings. Finally, the two sides affirmed the efforts made by the Sino American Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMS) in promoting Sino American medical exchanges.
