Exchange Program for Health Management Personnel in Singapore

I. Project Background

With the development of China's market economy and the continuous reform and advancement of the medical service system, participants in the medical and health field are facing unprecedented challenges and pressures. Every hospital should strive to seize the opportunity of innovation, use modern medical information technology and management methods, improve its core competitiveness, and form its own unique advantages. For managers in the medical and health industry, The medical and health reform has brought opportunities and requirements for the breadth and depth of career development of hospital managers. In order to strengthen their practical and leadership abilities in their work fields, they need to learn and draw on advanced management concepts from developed countries and regions in medical and health care

Singapore is the only country outside the United States in the world where all public medical institutions and large private hospitals have successfully passed the JCI certification. By integrating the essence of management concepts and practices from the East and the West, Singapore's medical system and hospital management model have become unique and become a reference, exchange and learning object for leaders of the Ministry of Health and hospitals in many countries

In order to meet the training needs of Chinese hospitals for middle level management personnel and promote cooperation and exchange between China and Singapore in the field of medical and health care, EVO Medical has cooperated with multiple medical institutions in Singapore to carry out the "Hospital Management Personnel Exchange Project in Singapore". The project plans to organize hospital management personnel to visit Singapore to study, comprehensively and deeply learn the new trends and experiences of hospital management in Singapore, broaden their horizons, and establish new management concepts, Improve decision-making and execution capabilities

II. Project Introduction

(I) Training objectives and methods

The project adopts modular teaching methods, including classroom lectures, experience sharing, group discussions, management games, video observation, case studies, and hospital field visits, to broaden students' horizons, update their concepts, improve management capabilities and execution, enhance collaboration and communication between departments, and cultivate a backbone team with an international perspective for the hospital. Central Hospital of Singapore, National University Hospital of Singapore, Changi General Hospital of Singapore, Singapore International School of Management and other relevant medical institutions

(III) Training objects and number of trainees per session

Management cadre class: hospital management personnel, department heads, backup backbone personnel, etc

Each session has 20-25 participants, and students can come from one or more hospitals. Each hospital can assign approximately 10 participants each time

Founded in 1985, National University Hospital of Singapore (NUH) is one of the largest national hospitals in Singapore and the first restructured hospital in Singapore. The hospital has an elegant and comfortable environment, with 31 wards and 1200 beds

The Cardiovascular Department, Digestive and Hepatology Department, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Oncology Department, Ophthalmology Department, and Pediatrics Department of the National University of Singapore Hospital have strong strengths in Singapore. The pediatric outpatient department and ward have colorful children's paradise, which reduces children's fear of the hospital and is easy to receive inspection and treatment
