PET-MR Symposium Successfully Held at Shanghai Dongfang Hepatobiliary Hospital

　　The "Precision Medicine and PET/MR Symposium", sponsored by Shanghai Dongfang Hepatobiliary Hospital and co sponsored by EVO Medical, was successfully held in Shanghai on April 26, 2017. The seminar brought together experts and doctors in the field of cancer to discuss and exchange the clinical application and scientific research value of PET/MR in the diagnosis and treatment of tumor systems and related diseases, so as to benefit more patients

　　At the seminar, Yang Chunshan, a distinguished professor of EVO medical science and director of the imaging department of the Changzheng Hospital affiliated to the Second Military Medical University, made an important presentation on the development strategy and clinical value of PET-MR

　　Everyone had a heated discussion about the clinical and scientific application of PET/MR. During the exchange, the value of PET/MR in the diagnosis, staging, efficacy evaluation, and brain function of solid tumors such as brain tumors, liver tumors, prostate sarcomas, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, gastric cancer, and cervical cancer was compared with PET/CT, which is currently a non mature molecular imaging device, and the technical characteristics and quality control of PET/MR were discussed
