Project Overview
The Massachusetts General Hospital International Medical Observation Program is committed to helping international medical practitioners participate in educational activities for clinical and non clinical medical observation. The Massachusetts General Hospital's International Patient Center coordinates and arranges informal educational activities for doctors, researchers, and other medical professionals who wish to visit Boston's Massachusetts General Hospital to observe clinical care, research, or administrative operations in a specific field. These customized educational programs have promoted the sharing of clinical nursing knowledge and professional skills, the improvement of the quality of medical care, and the innovation of medical care
Medical observation projects include projects of varying length and content, ranging from four-hour observation in a single department to monthly observation in multiple departments. Observers from around the world, including renowned doctors, researchers, government officials, and hospital administrators, will collaborate with the Massachusetts General Hospital International Patient Center to arrange educational programs to promote:
1. Innovation in patient care
2. Global leading research
3. Hospital Management and Operations
The medical observation project is designed for doctors currently practicing medicine. After successfully completing the medical observation project, the observation personnel will receive a certificate of participation (issued by the International Patient Center of Massachusetts General Hospital)
Application process and requirements
Applicants for the International Medical Observation Program need to complete all of the following requirements:

5. Sign the Observation Personnel Expectation Form
