In retrospect, I had the idea of traveling to Japan for a medical examination with my husband in April, and then set off smoothly in May in the blink of an eye. I can't help but praise the efficiency!
Before going to Japan, my husband and I visited multiple medical institutions for comparison, and finally chose a company called Aiwo Medical. They have their own team in Japan to provide full service, and they do not hire fledgling international students to do local reception and accompany translation in foreign countries, as some institutions do. They are already unable to speak the language and deal with hospitals. However, if they make any mistakes in their translation, the consequences can hardly be imagined. In addition, we have relatively high requirements for the quality of physical examinations, and for the sake of peace of mind, we have selected Aiwo Medical to sign a contract with them.
On the same day, Li Peng from their Japanese department drove us to TOKYO BAYCOURT, located in the Taichang area near Tokyo Bay CLUB stops for a rest. There are not only restaurants, bars, swimming pools, and boxing courts inside, but also a 2300 square meter hot spring SPA on the 25th and 26th floors upstairs!
When we arrived at the International University of Medical Welfare's Mitsuda Hospital the next day, we had the illusion of entering another club as soon as we entered the hall. The low-key dark brown floor, concise and clear guidance signs, and even piano and violin playing in the corner. "If it weren't for Xiao Li to take me to register for a consultation, I could hardly imagine this being a hospital.".
Before the physical examination, you need to fill out some forms, and with the help of Xiao Li's interpreter, you have finally completed it. There are many questions in the table, including whether you smoke or not? Do you want to drink alcohol? Do you exercise more than 30 minutes a week? How fast do you eat compared to others? Do you have enough sleep and rest

When I was in China, I was most afraid of colonoscopy and gastroscopy, but I didn't expect to enter the colonoscopy examination room with fear the next day. After taking sedatives, I didn't feel at all, as if I woke up from a sleep and the examination was over. Xiao Li explained that the sedatives used for gastroenteroscopy in Santian Hospital are different from ordinary anesthetics, and do not affect normal brain activity. They can selectively inhibit and alleviate various types of pain, reducing fear, tension, and anxiety caused by pain. After that, the ophthalmic examination, bone mineral density measurement, and hearing test were also carried out smoothly. The doctor also provided me with an examination instruction the next day.
On the the fourth day, after the cervical examination, the expert made a tentative report on the examination results. The doctor suggested that I have atrophic gastritis and reminded me to promptly treat any symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, and acid reflux. In addition, given my high blood sugar and protein values, it is recommended to control oily foods, consume less sugar, and drink more water in the future. In addition, there is fat around the gallbladder, which can be seen as having very small calcification spots inside the gallbladder. The doctor also mentioned that I have a small polyp in my thyroid gland. Although it does not require treatment according to the current situation, it is necessary to drink more water, pay attention to dietary habits, and have regular examinations. After the otolaryngology examination, the doctor said it was very good and there were no problems.
"We have been listening to the results report in the consultation room for a long time, and it is an extravagant demand in China to be able to hear so much from doctors and communicate for so long.". For non medical professionals like us, a paper report is no different from a heavenly book. Faced with a dazzling array of figures, we have no idea what different meanings they have for us. However, it's different here. The doctors let us know which parts of our body are healthy, which parts have problems, and even what we should do to restore them to their normal values. I feel that the service here is really good.
During the medical examination, we followed the principle of proximity and, accompanied by their exclusive service butler, visited Japan's most prestigious business district, Ginza, and the Meiji Shrine attractions.
In the next five or six days, we went to the historic PGA Day Tour host course to play golf and gaze out at Mount Fuji. We toured the Luzhi Lake cruise, the Okuni Volcano, tasted the black eggs of the volcano, visited the Hakone Glass Forest Museum and took a walk in Xianshiyuan, experienced the warm spring culture of Japan. We also went to the Tokyo Bay Terrace, took a yacht to explore the Tokyo Bay, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Tokyo Bay.
This trip to Japan for a physical examination was worth it. The extremely comprehensive physical examination and surprise filled itinerary, as well as the guarantee of brand and service, enabled me to travel with a pleasant mood and return home. After returning home, I told many friends about my experience and feelings during this physical examination in Japan, hoping that they would all take their health seriously.
