I. Project Introduction

With the development of China's market economy and the continuous reform and advancement of the medical and nursing service system, participants in the medical and nursing field are facing unprecedented challenges and pressures. Every hospital should strive to seize the opportunity of innovation, use modern medical information technology and management methods, improve its core competitiveness, and form its unique advantages. For managers in the medical and nursing industry, the medical and health reform has brought opportunities and requirements for the breadth and depth of career development of hospital nursing managers. In order to strengthen their practical and leadership abilities in their work fields, they need to learn and draw on advanced management concepts, methods, and experiences from countries and regions that have developed medical and health care.

The medical care system in Taiwan has developed from a purely public medical undertaking in the 1960s to only 15% of public hospitals today, marking a successful transition from public to private. The vigorous development of private hospitals has promoted the reform and transformation of public hospitals, and made Taiwan outstanding in the field of hospital nursing management, especially in quality management, performance management, team building, etc., which is worthy of reference by domestic hospitals.

In order to meet the training needs of Chinese hospitals for middle level management personnel and promote cooperation and exchange between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait in the field of medical and health care, EVO collaborated with Mackay Memorial Hospital to carry out the "Nursing Management Personnel Study Project in Taiwan". The project plans to organize hospital nursing management personnel to visit Taiwan to study, comprehensively and deeply study the new trends and experiences of nursing management in Taiwan's hospitals, broaden their horizons, establish new management concepts, and improve their decision-making and execution abilities. Let you personally experience the management concept of medical care across the Strait, provide a new perspective for domestic nursing managers to solve problems, and provide a new direction for the development of mainland hospitals.
