Sino US Health Cooperation Forum: Central South University Xiangya Third Hospital Successfully Held

On the morning of June 25th, the special session (7) of the Sino US Health Cooperation Forum jointly hosted by Aiwo Medical and Xiangya Third Hospital of Central South University was successfully held in Changsha, Hunan. Professor David C. Read, Vice President of Dana Faber Cancer Research Institute affiliated to Harvard University Medical School in the United States, accompanied by Mr. Bi Qilin, Director of Aiwo Medical's Hunan Office, and other staff members, visited Xiangya Third Hospital to conduct academic lectures and discussions. He was warmly received by President Ouyang Wen of the hospital, Chief Zhang Yi of the Medical Department, and the backbone of relevant disciplines in the hospital.

An academic lecture attracted nearly 500 medical practitioners, and the scene was already full before it started.

At the meeting, President Ouyang Wen of Yasan Hospital presided over and delivered wonderful lectures on "Improving the Patient Experience and the Doctor Experience" and "Overview of a Top Rated U.S. Cancer Center" with Professor David C. Read, respectively, which won applause from the attendees.

After the meeting, the hospital leadership and Professor David C. Read had a cordial and friendly discussion in the conference room. President Ouyang Wen and Vice President David C. Read introduced the development history and current situation of their respective hospitals to each other, and conducted preliminary discussions on cooperation in medical cooperation, joint laboratories, talent cultivation, and the convening of international medical summits. President Ouyang Wen expressed his hope to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation through the opportunity of the hospital special session.

Led by relevant personnel from the hospital, we visited the oncology department of the hospital together and exchanged views with department personnel.
