Series of Sino US Health Cooperation Forum - Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital

On June 24, 2019, the special event of the Sino US Health Cooperation Forum (IV) jointly hosted by Aiwo Medical and Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital was successfully held at Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital. Brigham and Women, affiliated with Harvard Medical School&# 39; Philip D. Roberts, Executive Officer of Surgery at S Hospital, relevant leaders of Jiangsu Province and Nanjing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureaus and Medical Insurance Center, presidents in charge of medical insurance in Nanjing's tertiary hospitals, and directors of medical insurance offices attended the meeting.

Zhan Yiyang, President of the Medical Insurance Branch of Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital, warmly welcomed Philip D. Roberts' visit. At the exchange meeting, Philip D. Roberts shared the scale and scientific research development of Brigham and Women's Hospitals, introduced the US medical insurance system based on the Revenue Cycle payment cycle, and explained in detail the typical characteristics of various types of medical insurance payers in the United States.

During the meeting, Philip D. Roberts introduced the language compilation, bill sending, and medical insurance payment of the United States medical insurance system around the operation and management of Brigham and Women's Hospital's Department of Surgery, and analyzed the ICD-10 code and DRG-Codes classification in the United States in detail.

During the dialogue, leaders of provincial and municipal medical insurance bureaus and directors of medical insurance offices of various hospitals held heated discussions and exchanges with Philip D. Roberts on disease grouping, total amount control, and other aspects.

Under the promotion of Aiwo Medical Organization, at the opening ceremony of the second Sino American Health Cooperation Forum, Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital became Brigham and Women affiliated to Harvard Medical School; S Hospital is the first official cooperative public hospital in China, and the two sides have continued to cooperate and maintain a good cooperative relationship, producing many results. I believe that with the efforts of both parties, more results will be brought in the future!
