The University of Washington Medical Center owns the ownership and management rights of CUMG and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, which consists of the University of Washington Medical Center, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and Seattle Children's Hospital. In the 2013-14 National Cancer Specialist Ranking, the University of Washington Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center tied for seventh place. The top six are MD Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dana Faber/Bregan Cancer Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
