On September 1, 2010, the construction of the new site of Xiangnan Kamakura General Hospital was completed and moved to the new hospital in Kamakura Okamoto.
The new hospital is spacious, with a building area of 2.5 times that of the old hospital. It has 15 floors above the ground and 1 floor below the ground, and has 648 beds, including 619 movable beds. There is a helipad on the roof of the hospital building. As part of environmental optimization, the hospital has decided to set up signs in English, Chinese, French, Russian and other relevant languages next to the elevator.
