On January 10th, David C. Read, Vice President of Dana Faber Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA Accompanied by Aiwo medical staff, they had academic exchanges with Wuxi People's Hospital and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, and presented wonderful lectures. On the morning of that day, a half day academic exchange was held in the conference room of the administrative building of Wuxi People's Hospital. In the afternoon of that day, Vice President Read came to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University to give a lecture. Before the meeting, Vice President Harvey Chao warmly received and led Vice President Read to visit the pancreatic center.

The lecture was held in the Grand Auditorium of the Sajiawan Hospital District, and staff from functional departments and some clinical departments listened to the lecture on site. Read Vice President's lecture topic is "Current Topics&"; Trends In U.S. Academic Teaching Hospitals: Current Topics and Trends in Academic Teaching Hospitals in the United States. He elaborated on his experiences and perspectives for everyone from two aspects: first, improving the patient's experience and considering the improvement of medical conditions from the patient's perspective. For example, new patients can make phone appointments from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to carefully listen to the consultation and opinions of patients and their families, and establish a strong relationship with patients through good first visit services. The second is to improve the experience of doctors, increase nurses, doctor assistants, social workers, etc. to reduce the workload of doctors, and standardize diagnosis and treatment methods through clinical pathways, ultimately achieving the goal of reducing doctors' job burnout.
